Skatepark ‘De Schans’ – 2015
‘De Schans’ is a skatepark in the Dutch city of Hilversum. It opened in the summer of 2001. The architect, Sybolt Meindertsma, cleverly safeguarded the park against desolation and demolition in case skateboarding would no longer be en vogue. (Music: ‘Electro Forever’ by The Royalty Free Society.)
