There’s no business
Clogged Syphon was a company developing accessories that skateboarders could use but would not need. There were inventions like: The Shade, The Octopus Cocktail, The Outdoor Piercing Remover and The Lid For Every Pot. Prototypes were developed by the dozens, yet they rarely led to marketable products. However, the company still exists.
In late 2015, the driving forces behind Clogged Syphon held an exhibition at the Polygonale Loods in the Dutch city of Tilburg. It featured various prototypes, advertisements, commercials, a skateboarding contest and the publication Strange Reaction #1. The result: some insight in their moderately successful business ventures and the aftermovie above.
Today everybody at Clogged Syphon Headquarters cleans for a living. Vacuuming deeply, tidying, sweeping, mopping – anything to make our headquarters and the rest of the world a better place. Done cleaning we go skateboarding.
